  • How do I get started? How does the membership work?

HuesBox subscriptions are automatically renewed on a recurring basis each quarter.

Our boxes ship once a quarter by the 20th of the month, four times a year in August, November, February, and June. If you've ordered a subscription outside of these months, your first HuesBox will arrive after the 20th of the soonest designated quarterly month AFTER your purchase date.

HuesBox will be delivered to your shipping address each quarter filled with products created and curated specifically for people of color. Click on the SUBSCRIBE button below or check out the webpage.

  • When will I be billed for my subscription? What forms of payment do you accept?

HuesBox uses a recurring payment model for subscriptions. If you've signed-up as a quarterly subscriber, each quarter you will be charged $25.00 on the same date each quarter (date of first subscription).  

Payment is required during sign-up for all subscriptions  We accept all major credits cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) as forms of payment for HuesBox subscriptions and purchases in The Hues Company store

  • When will I receive my box? 

The current quarter's HuesBox will be shipped in batches via USPS AFTER the 15th of the shipping month (see above). Boxes generally arrive 7 - 10 days after ship date (longer times may apply for delivery to Alaska, and Hawaii), but delivery times vary based on location. Tracking information is provided for up-to-date EDT.

Boxes returned to us because of insufficient address are subject to extended delivery delays. Be sure to input your address clearly and correctly during checkout to receive your HuesBox as efficiently as possible. Subscribers can update or change shipping addresses here

  • Can I return my HuesBox?

HuesBox subscription purchases are non-refundable, however, products purchased in The Hues Company store are available for full refunds within 30 days of purchase.

  • How do I purchase products from my HuesBox?

  • How do I customize my box?

After selecting your HuesBox membership subscription plan, you will be prompted to complete our health, beauty, and wellness profile survey. This survey helps us customize products colors, types, and beauty secrets to fit your unique position in the diaspora. Survey completion required with purchase. 

  • What if I want to change my beauty and wellness profile, shipping address, billing information, etc?

You can log-in to your HuesBox subscription account and change any personal information

  • Is HuesBox only for women?

NO! Our boxes start out gender neutral and are customized according to your preferred gender identity. Complete the beauty and wellness profile to indicate your preference. If you'd like a specialized box specifically curated for men/trans-men/non-binary please make a note at the end of the subscription form.  

  • What are my shipping options?

Quarterly HuesBoxes ship for free after 15th of every month. Purchases made in The Hues Company Store can be shipped via the following available shipping speeds

  1. Standard Shipping - $5.00 (5 - 10 business days)
  2. UPS/FedEx Ground - $7.00 (1 - 5 business days)
  3. UPS/FedEx 2nd Day Air - $15.00 (2 business days)
  4. UPS/FedEx Next Day Air - $22.00 (next business day)
  • Can I send a HuesBox subscription as a gift?

Yes, we offer HuesBox gift subscriptions. They're the perfect gift for holidays, birthdays, or just to say thank you! You can send two-quarter subscriptions by choosing GIFT SUBSCRIPTION in The Hues Company Store.

  • What kinds of products can I expect in my box?

We comb social media, search the internet, and take word-of-mouth suggestions. When we began creating HuesBox, we realized that there were so many individuals creating amazing products, but they were also having difficulty reaching their target market and scaling up to develop a broader reach. We see HuesBox as the link between these small businesses and their target audience of people of color. That means if HuesBox is successful, so are all the companies we work with. The products in your HuesBox are probably not products you’ve seen at your local Target, and that’s exactly the way we want it.
